For Coaches & Team Managers

A New Experience.
One Goal.

Indoor on the Beach was built to create the most memorable experience of the season, one that fosters growth, connection, and belonging in the sport.

Here's How
01

Volleyball-Specific Development

Sand doesn't just feel different, it forces a different game. Movement, balance, jump timing, and court positioning all get rebuilt on the spot, while your athletes are still playing the exact sport they've trained for all year.

"A 2024 peer-reviewed study found sand training produced significantly better jump and strength gains than hard-court training alone. It's a measurable training stimulus, not a different feel."

02

Team Bonding, Inside the Sport

A team bonding opportunity actually connected to volleyball, not a separate dinner or a bowling trip that has nothing to do with the sport they chose.

"Team cohesion and performance reinforce each other directly, and cohesion is linked to athletes staying with a team, and the sport, longer. Bonding earned through sport specific experiences together doesn't fade the way a random outing does."

03

A Community Beyond the Roster

A chance to become part of the greater community, connecting with peers and the sport itself, beyond the boundaries of their own team.

"Research on why young athletes stay in sport found 58 percent are motivated by the social connection as much as the game itself. For 75 minutes, every court stops together, so that connection is built into the schedule, not left to chance."

04

Play Without Consequence

Four matches, opponents matched by OVA ranking, nothing riding on the result. Not sanctioned, no standings, no elimination.

"Volleyball Canada's own development framework names why that matters at this age: athletes start reporting the sport feels too focused on results, and no longer fun. Ontario Volleyball is in the middle of reviewing its own competition structure right now, for the same reason."

05

What's Actually Happening at Social Hour

It feels like a party. 75 minutes of contests, music, shopping, activations and socializing. Coaches join the fun. That same time block is also where they get hands-on with the gear and tools that support their training and recovery. Every activation and partner in that room is there because it adds something to the athlete's development.

"Nothing in that room is random."

Why This Matters

Every athlete on your roster is already there because they love this sport. What a season doesn't always leave room for is the space to actually feel that, underneath the pressure, the setbacks, the grind toward the next result.

That one day has the potential to be a reset: a chance to feel everything about this sport that made them fall for it in the first place, competition included.

Where's the Proof

It's not a guess. Roughly 70 percent of kids who play organized sport quit before their teenage years are over, and when researchers ask why, "it's not fun anymore" is consistently the top answer, even among kids who once loved what they played. Love for the game doesn't disappear on its own. It gets crowded out, one high-stakes weekend at a time, unless something protects it.

This isn't a nice-to-have. It's the day that protects the reason they started.
