A club volleyball series bringing together competitive play, social connection, athlete culture, and unforgettable team memories.
Every part of the Indoor on the Beach event series is intentionally designed around how young volleyball athletes grow, belong and experience their sport, not only how they perform in it.
Put your team on sand, and everything shifts. Movement, balance, timing, spacing, jumping, and recovery all change. It's a different challenge, built to push your limits without the weight of a season riding on it. Your team adjusts together, while still playing the sport you know.
Your team plays four matches against the opponents closest to you in the OVA rankings, so every game is worth playing and every point is earned. There's no pool play and no playoffs. The result still matters while you're playing. It just doesn't follow you around afterward. You're free to push your limits, try the thing you wouldn't normally risk, and go all in.
A one-of-a-kind facility, built to bring the whole event under one roof: six sand courts on the main level, surrounded by activation stations, shopping, and team hangout spaces, so there's no splitting between high school gyms. One level up, a mezzanine level built for watching: every court in view, licensed, with a restaurant on site.
A different competitive challenge, room to adapt and take risks, and a stronger connection to their team and to players from clubs across Ontario.
A chance to see how their athletes adapt, communicate and compete when the familiar game presents a completely different problem.
Every game in view from the mezzanine, not just their kid's, plus Social Hour with their athlete and a room full of parents who understand exactly what this season takes.
Because nothing like this exists in club volleyball. It's the missing piece: your season already has the tournaments, the scrimmages, the practices. What it's missing is a day to see the sport from a different angle, to laugh with your team instead of just grinding through it, to fall in love with the game in a way training never allows. It's a day built around who they're becoming as an athlete, not just how they perform in it.
What happens when the result matters, but only while you're playing? You take the set you'd never call in a ranked game. You go for plays, take risks, and see what's possible.
What happens when there's a chance to spend time with your peers without the net between you? You connect with a dozen more players and build your own community.
This isn't time off from getting better. It's how you get better.

Five hours. Doors open at 2:00pm, and the event wraps by 7:00pm — see Flow of the Day above for the full breakdown.
Each of your four games is capped at 40 minutes, played to as many sets to 25 points as fit in that time. Parents keep score, there are no referees, and there's no final standings.
$400 per team.
The team registers first. After that, every rostered athlete completes their own quick sign-up, including a waiver, before they're allowed on the sand.
Yes — full 6v6 on indoor sand, played under OVA rules. Your athletes are playing the sport they already know. The difference is the surface, not the rulebook: sand changes footwork, timing and how the ball moves, which is what makes it a real challenge to adapt to together.
No, and that's deliberate. Teams keep their own score. The day is built around competing, adapting to the sand, communicating and making decisions together — not managing a tournament outcome. Taking officiating away takes the pressure off every individual point, and what's left is the part that actually develops athletes. Matches are still competitive and opponents are matched by OVA ranking, so the volleyball is real. It just isn't being managed for a result.
Every partner on the day is chosen for what they can add to an athlete's development, not for what they're selling — things that support performance, recovery, confidence, self-expression or a connection to the wider volleyball community. It isn't a trade show. During the Social Hour every court stops at once, so athletes have real time to explore, ask questions and try things rather than walking past tables between matches.
